Concept

Designing for a child requires looking through the eyes of a child. This was one of our starting points. In particular, we tried to complete the impact of the project, which will be a child education structure, on the development of the child in terms of space and design. Studies show that children's perception is at a different lower angle than adults, and we analyzed the space by looking at this level. Child ergonomics, color relationship, light and forms' cognitive and physical effects on the child shaped our design.

In the context of the theme, education-ecology became our main topics. We have processed them in the materials, colors and shapes we use. The natural wood and green effect on the ground floor is one of the most important indicators of these. We aimed to provide an inviting and warm environment, especially when we discussed the child's adaptation process to a new environment. We aimed that the design products used and selected encourage the child to both research and production. The child, whose perception will be completely open, will follow the lines and colors and will gain a unique knowledge.

Çocuk için tasarlamak, çocuk gözünden bakmayı gerektirir. Bu bizim çıkış noktalarımızdan biriydi. Özellikle çocuk eğitim yapısı olacak projenin mekan ve tasarım açısından çocuğun gelişimine etkisini tamamlamaya çalıştık. Araştırmalar çocuk algısının yetişkinlere nazaran daha farklı daha alçak bir açıda bulunduğunu gösteriyor ve bu seviyeden bakarak mekanı çözümledik. Çocuk ergonomisi, renk ilişkisi, ışık ve formların çocuk üzerindeki bilişsel ve fiziksel olarak etkisi tasarımımızı şekillendirdi.

Tema bağlamında, eğitim-ekoloji bizim ana başlıklarımız oldu. Gerek kullandığımız malzemelerde, renklerde ve şekillerde bunları işledik. Giriş kattaki doğal ahşap ve yeşil etkisi bunların en önemli göstergelerinden biri. Özellikle çocuğun yeni bir ortama alışma sürecini ele aldığımızda, davetkar ve sıcak bir ortam sağlamayı amaçladık. Kullanılan ve seçilen tasarım ürünlerinin çocuğu hem araştırmaya hem üretime teşvik etmesini amaçladık. Algısı tamamen açık olacak çocuk işlenen çizgileri, renkleri takip edecek ve eşsiz bir birikim elde edecek.

Plan

At this stage, the design of the workshops and classrooms, one of the most critical areas of the project, was made. Since the building will provide training in 63 different workshop curriculum, the spaces in the physically limited plan were placed as functional as possible, and a 2-stage model was realized here together with the trainers. Classrooms that do not need theory lessons and much equipment are planned as part 1 and laboratory-type workshops serving specific workshops and studies as part 2. In the floor corridors, a hanging sitting unit where students can store their clothes and themed current-magazine cabins were designed in terms of evaluation and education during break times. The colors were chosen in different tones as soft and pastel, in accordance with the general concept, according to the needs of each workshop. The most optimized products in terms of durability, aesthetics and functionality were chosen as a result of a detailed research from the market.

While creating the design line, we tried to go beyond the straight and rectangular lines that are generally followed and that children are exposed to, and try to make it soft and different geometric shapes. We aimed to give the child a perspective by intertwining geometric shapes and symbolizing with abstract thought, to use them as a first step to show that they can go beyond the ordinary, and to gain the ability to interpret and follow symbols and shapes (constructivism).

Bu aşamada projenin en kritik bölgelerinden biri olan atölyeler ve dersliklerin tasarımı yapıldı. Yapı 63 farklı atölye müfredatta eğitim vereceği için fiziksel olarak kısıtlı olan planda mahalleri azami derecede fonsiyonel olarak yerleştirildi ve burada eğiticilerle beraber 2 aşamalı bir model gerçekleştirildi. Teori derslerinin ve çok fazla ekipmana ihtiyaç duymayan derslikler, 1.kısım ve spesifik atölye ve çalışamalara hizmet eden laboratuvar tipi atölyeler de 2. Kısım olarak planlandı. Kat koridorlarını da öğrencilerin kıyafetlerini depolayabilecekleri bir askılı oturma ünitesi ve teneffüs zamanlarını değerlendirme ve eğitim açısından temalı aktüel-dergi kabinleri tasarlandı. Renkler her bir atölyenin ihtiyacına göre soft ve pastel olarak farklı tonlarda genel konsepte uygun seçildi. Kullanılan mobilyalar dayanıklılık, estetik ve işlevsellik açısından en optimize ürünler piyasadan detaylı bir araştırma sonucunda tercih edildi.

Tasarım çizgisini oluştururken genelde izlenen ve çocukların maruz kaldığı düz ve dikdörtgen çizgilerin dışına çıkarak yumuşak ve farklı geometrik şekillerden olması için çalıştık. Geometrik şekilleri iç içe geçirerek ve gerek soyut düşünceyle sembolize etme tekniğiyle çocuğa bakış açısı kazandırmak, alışılmışın dışına çıkabileceğini göstermek için ilk adım olarak kullanmak, sembolleri ve şekilleri (konstrüktivizm), yorumlama ve takip etme yeteneği kazanmasını amaçladık.

Ecology

The points we paid attention to when choosing our material chart required the products to be durable, safe and economical due to the fact that the user was a child. Glass and wood, which are the main and natural materials, found their place at every point of the design. Permeability, warmth and invitingness were our critical topics. In addition, in order to prevent noise pollution that may occur in the environment, it was tried to absorb with carpet tiles with an acoustic value of 40 db. The purpose of our design, in which we embroidered different color charts, was for the child to live and feel the colors by feeling them in person. Especially in our project, where the main colors are processed, we preferred to use the natural and soft colors of the colors, not the pure artificial form. A soft design was one of the important factors in shaping a warm environment and we tried to achieve this with the right ratio and amount. In addition, when we consider the signaling ability of young children, colors and shapes have a very important place. For this reason, we used the relevant colors and icons both in classifying the floors and in the distinctions of space, and we placed these distinctions carefully in their perception.

Malzeme kartelamızı seçerken dikkat ettiğimiz husular, kullanıcının çocuk olmasından kaynaklı ürünlerin dayanıklı, güvenli ve ekonomik olmasını gerektirdi. Ana ve doğal malzemeler olan cam ve ahşap tsarımın her bir noktasında kendine yer buldu. Geçirgenlik, sıcaklık ve davetkarlık krtitik başlıklarımızdı. Ayrıca ortamda oluşabilecek gürültü kirliliğini engellemek adına 40 db değerinde akustik değere sahip karo halılarla absorbeye çalışıldı.

Farklı renk kartelasını işlediğimiz tasarımımızdaki amaç, çocuğun renkleri yerinde bizzat hissederek yaşaması ve hissetmesiydi. Özellikle ana renklerin işlendiği projemizde, renklerin katkısız yapay hali değilde, doğada olduğu ve soft hallerini kullanmayı tercih ettik. Soft bir tasarım sıcak bir ortam şekillendirmek adına öenmli etkelerden biriydi ve doğru oran ve miktarla bunu başarmaya çalıştık. Ayrıca küçük yaştaki çöocukların sinyalizasyon yeteneğini ele aldığımızda renk ve şekiller çok önemli bir yere sahip. Bu nedenle gerek katları sınıflandırırken gerek mahal ayrımlarında ilgili renk ve ikonları kullandık ve özellikle bu ayrımları onların algı açısına dikkatle yerleştirdik.
